In a world where Californian acts are still ripping off the same three riffs from Pet Sounds, or grasping at the dregs of the mid-70’s underground scene, the creative impulse to look forward as often as one looks back, is a desperate effort to live limitlessly. Sally Spitz fiery magnetism, unique style, and performance art roots effortlessly suggest no bounds.

With legendary LA art-punk act French Vanilla on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lead singer Spitz has had precious time to hone a new solo project wielding an exciting, raw-edged, trap pop sound. Her proto-hyphy influences, as well as a long history of singing classical and traditional music in choirs, converge in this new direction via hype-worthy collaborations with free-genre and pop producers. Her self-titled LP drops January 2022.
